The City of Calgary has released its lawn and landscape watering schedule to help residents conserve water while keeping yards and gardens healthy.
Under the schedule, homes may water their lawn or landscape up to three days per week, based on address number:
Even-numbered addresses may water on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Odd-numbered addresses may water on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
Watering is allowed during the following times:
Morning: 12:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Evening: 7:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
Some watering and outdoor water use is allowed any day and any time, including hand watering with a hose and shut-off nozzle, watering new plants, watering fruits and vegetables, filling pools and hot tubs, and washing windows, decks, fences, or siding.
